Mr. Justice (Retd) Aamer Raza A. Khan commenced his legal practice over six decades ago in the year 1958 and rose to become an inspiration for each lawyer who enters the legal arena today. Having achieved all that a lawyer could in legal practice, he was elevated to the Bench of the Lahore High Court, Lahore, from which office he later resigned in protest of the Zia regime. He is also the author of the leading treatise on law of civil procedure titled “The Code of Civil Procedure”.

While he ended his law practice in the year 2007, in protest against the Musharraf regime, he continues to impart legal education, since the year 1962, at the University of the Punjab, and the Civil Services Academy.
